History
The history of Manly real estate originates from Captain Arthur Phillip who described the Aboriginal people that were habitating the area as having “confidence and manly behaviour”. Today the culture in Manly is still vibrant, confident and active. The Australian beach culture of the past is alive and well today. Location:
Manly is ideally situated between Sydney Harbour, the Pacific Ocean and North Head. The Manly to Sydney CBD ferry ride (which dates back to 1855) takes approximately half an hour and enjoys outstanding views which never fail to impress.

The Corso of Manly and its surrounding streets offer an array of mainstream and boutique retail outlets plus two Coles supermarkets for every day needs. For more comprehensive shopping, Warringah Mall is close by and the CBD is a short ferry ride away. Manly also caters perfectly for tourists, with many shops offering an array of Australian souvenirs to choose from.

Sports & Fitness
Manly is the perfect location for an active lifestyle, offering a huge amount of options including surfing, kayaking, beach volleyball, running along Manly beach, bike riding, coastal walks, surf lifesaving activities, waterslides, Ocean world, parasailing, jet boating, fishing, golf, cricket, tennis or football just to name a few.
Manly is home to one of Australia’s best football teams, the Manly Sea Eagles. Supporting the Manly Sea Eagles is embedded into the local culture and is enjoyed by most of the locals. Other teams include a rugby union team Called Manly RUFC and a cricket team called Manly-Warringah District Cricket Club. Manly also have a soccer team called the Manly Fire Air.

Distance from the CBD & Transportation
Manly is 13.5km north east of the Sydney CBD, with many buses and taxis available. The drive to the city is accessed via the Spit Bridge and Harbour Bridge or tunnel. Most residents opt to use the ferry service though which takes approximately 30mins and features tranquil views and a stress free ride.
